Slider for interior locking door on the left
Ford Model-A 1930-1931 Coupe & Tudor Sedan & Closed Pickup
Description
This slider is required on Coupes and Tudors
is mounted on the inside of the left door
Doesn't work on the right door (passenger side), although the door looks like there is a place to accommodate the slider.
When the slide lock is pushed, it slides against part of the door latch and prevents the outside door handle from turning.
The right (passenger) door locks do not have this additional sliding mechanism.
