Front and Rear Foot Brake Adjustment Wedge (Plated and Heat Treated)

This wedge with the square at the end protrudes through the support plate

To remove the brake adjustment wedge, first remove the brake shoes

and turn the wedge clockwise until it is loose in its housing.

Tap the square end to pop off the cap now the wedge can be removed

One adjuster is required per wheel

Notice :

Recut the thread in the anchor plate if the adjusters are difficult to turn

You need a UNF 5/8"-18 tap

Our tip:

use the special adjustment key A-2041-TO

this makes adjusting the brake shoes much easier
