If you have an old original cable housing and the cable is broken,

you can replace just the cable instead of the entire assembly.

The cables are 61-1/2" long.

You will need to measure your old cable as many of them over the years

The speedometer cables manufactured were of different lengths.

If your cable does not match this length, it is best to just purchase the complete cable with the case.

Annotation:

In some early speedometer drives with the deep hole, a small spacer must be inserted,

otherwise the speedometer cable will slip back and slide out of the top of the speedometer.
