INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIPSTICK T-3069

1. Drain the engine oil to the lower level of the oil tap,

so that you can remove the lower oil cock in the oil pan.

2. Remove the lower oil cock from the oil pan and install the elbow included in your kit

We recommend putting some Teflon tape on the thread togasket it

3. The hoses have a plastic band at the bottom,

which must be removed before installation.

This is to keep the black powder coating away from the copper pipes.

Install the pipe into the elbow so that it runs to the left of the upper oil cock

and comes out just above the engine mount ear below the firewall.

Tighten the bolt connection, but not too tight.

4. The bend of the pipe may need to be changed slightly.

Do not make sharp bends

Do not bend the tube sideways, otherwise the dipstick will jam.

5. Attach the top end of the dipstick tube to the bulkhead using the included bracket.

6. Fill the drained oil back into the engine.

Your oil can now be checked like a modern car
