Bolt with 1/4"-24 thread made of brass
for magneto / reproduction sprocket
Ford Model T 1909-1927
Description
This is a special brass threaded bolt,
which is used to hold the magnets and the flywheel ring gear
This bolt has a 1/4"-24 thread and is made specifically for the reproduction sprocket T-3268-RE .
the outer diameter of the thread measures 6.2mm
Danger:
This bolt only fits the replica sprockets T-3268-RE
It is not suitable for the original Ford sprockets
Notice :
if you use this bolt with 1/4"24 thread on an original sprocket,
the thread will jam
Important:
Since both bolts have the same pitch of 24 threads, they are very easy to mix up
Our tip:
If you are not sure which thread is present in your sprocket,
order one bolt each T-3278-OE-Q1 and T-3278-RE-Q1 to check the thread
Installation instructions:
Do not use old bolts because you will use the bolts after assembly
must be caulked at the back with a cross chisel or center punch to secure it
