Generator / alternator / three-phase alternator 12V old style with negative ground
Ford Model T 1909-1927
This is a 50 amp alternator similar to the original Model T alternator. Only works on 12 volt systems with negative ground.
The perfect solution for anyone who likes a powerful modern generator but doesn't want to miss out on the original look
This 12V three-phase alternator in the original design directly replaces the original DC alternator of the Model-T
and can be used on any Model-T that originally had an alternator.
The connection is made via the same individual cable that is also used for the original alternator.
The generator has an internal regulator, so there is no need to use a voltage regulator or generator shutdown
From 1919 onwards, an alternator was installed as standard on all Model-Ts
