

Thermostat 71°C for vehicles without a water pump

A thermostat brings your engine to the correct operating temperature much more quickly.
Mounted between water outlet and head.
This is the 160 degree version (71°C) which is to be used if you are not using a water pump.
Installation instructions:
Use a 160 degree thermostat if not using a water pump.
Use a 180 degree thermostat when using a water pump.
Drain approximately 1 gallon (3.8 liters) of coolant from the system (you will need to drain enough coolant to be able to remove the water outlet from the head).
