Hose thermostat 160 Degree 71°C diameter 2" (50mm)
Ford Model A 1928-1931
Description
This is a 160 degree Fahrenheit (71 degree Celsius) thermostat that will help your Model-A
to keep the engine at a good operating temperature even in colder weather
It slides into the upper radiator hose between the outlet and the radiator.
The pipe prevents the thermostat from moving
Installation instructions:
Drain the coolant enough to remove the upper radiator hose.
Insert the thermostat into the upper radiator hose.
Install the stainless steel pipe welded to the thermostat so
that the pipe socket points downwards and the thermostat points upwards towards the radiator
Add coolant and you're done.
