Water pump modern version in original design
Ford Model A 1928-1929
Description
The version with the brass nut is correct for 1928-1929 but fits all years from 1928-1931
The water pump snout was drilled out to accept agasket ed ball bearing in place of the old original roller bearing
this is pressed onto the shaft to eliminate end play
It also has agasket ed rear bushing assembly with a stock packing nut
The packing nut contains a spare graphite packing.
Our leak-free Model A water pump comes with a gasket and fan mounting kit
Important:
The rear bushing needs to be lubricated approximately every 800 km
Our tip:
Use the special nut A-8600-KO to loosen the fan wheel
