This is a thin adjustment ring with a nylon washer,
which is placed at the very front of the pump to control the end play.
Stops the fan from moving forward and backward
Notice :
If you use this adjustment ring, you can also use it with a worn cylinder head
use the standard shaft A-8501-SS
