Brake pad set with rivets for the handbrake
Ford Model T 1909-1925
Description
This is a set of brake pads only for the earlier T-2566-A brake shoes,
which consist of 2 parts.
The kit consists of 4 pieces of pads and rivets 7" long and 1" wide 1/8" thick
178mm long 25.4mm wide 3.17mm thick
The brake pads must be drilled to set and countersink the rivets
Important:
If you still have the original brake shoes that do not have a brake pad,
you cannot use these brake pads
(these brake shoes have a diameter that is too large)
A NOTICE:
The special drill/countersink is included in the riveting tool T-2566-TO-1 and T-2566-TO-2
Technical tip:
When installing the brake pads, start with the two center holes and work toward the outer ends.
The pad should be clamped tightly to the jaw
After the pad is installed on the shoe, the ends of each brake pad should be beveled
Danger:
These brake pads do not fit 1 ton truck brakes
